This power grants you temporary knowledge. You gain a +5 competence bonus on a single skill check of your choice. If you have no ranks in the skill, you are considered trained in the skill for as long as this power lasts. Alternatively, you gain proficiency with a single weapon (simple or martial) or type of armor (light, medium, heavy, or shield) as if you had the appropriate feat.
