Cloak of the Bat

Designed initially for stealth, this cloak is made of dark brown or black fabric. Then creators started to get creative with it, seeing how the users looked like a bat. They began imbuing it with more powers, and it became a popular item with the Darkspear trolls and the Forsaken. Power: This cloak bestows a +5 competence bonus on all Stealth checks. The wearer is also able to hang upside down from the ceiling like a bat. By holding onto the edges of the cloak, the wearer is able to fly as if he had use of the spell. If he desires, he may polymorph himself into an ordinary bat and fly accordingly. All items he carries or wears are part of the transformation. Flying in either form can be accomplished only in darkness, under night sky or in a lightless environment. Either flying power is usable for up to 7 minutes, but after a flight of any duration the cloak can no longer bestow any flying power for a like period of time.
