While you are psionically focused and have not consciously lowered your volatile mind ability, you absorb extra power points that manifesters of telepathic powers are forced to pay when they target you. The power points you absorb in this fashion are added to your power point reserve; however, you can never gain more power points in this fashion than your normal power point maximum. It you already possess your maximum power points, your volatile mind ability works normally.
