Instant Reload is a D&D 3.5 feat (Epic) from EL, p. 61. Choose one type of crossbow, such as heavy crossbow, You can fire that type of crossbow as fast as a bow.
Prerequisite
Quick Draw (PH) , Rapid Reload*,
You may fire the selected type of crossbow at your full normal attack rate. Effectively, you can reload your crossbow as fast as an archer can reload a bow. Reloading your crossbow does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
You can gain this feat multiple times. Its effects do not stack. Each time you take the feat, it applies to a different type of crossbow. *This feat is presented in the Nonepic Feats section at the end of this chapter.
