Family Curse

The character suffers -2 penalty on all skill checks.

This curse is not applied specifically to a single character or an item on the character's person, and therefore cannot be removed by remove curse.

Roleplaying Ideas: Characters affected by a family curse often develop personalities or goals surrounding it, such as becoming lackadaisical or nihilistic due to the influence of failure on their lives, or becoming motivated to succeed despite the curse, as if spurred on by challenge. Still, some may even set out to find a way to rid themselves of the curse.
