Block Spell
Metamagic feat
Block Spell is a D&D 3.5 feat (Metamagic) from WRPG, p. 107. You channel energy to block a spell's effects.
Prerequisite
Iron Will, Magic Energy Control, caster level 5th
Benefit
When you are targeted by a spell, you can disrupt it. Make a Spellcraft check (DC 15 + spell level). If you succeed, you can automatically counter the spell by spending a spell slot at least one level higher than the target spell. You need not prepare a specific counterspell.
Normal
Counterspelling usually requires casting the same spell, a diametrically opposed spell, or dispel magic.
