Description: Although it is based on the technology behind the potion injector, the assassin's injector is much smaller. It is a small device about the size of a 4-inch cube with a timer, a spring, a needle and a small amount of powerful poison inside. Operation: When set (a DC 15 Use Technological Device check) and slipped inside a pocket (a DC 15 Sleight of Hand check), the device goes off after 5 minutes: A spring shoots the needle into the target with a successful attack roll. (The device has no bonuses on attack rolls, but the target is considered flat-footed for the attack.) The needle deals 1d2 points of damage, plus any added poison. If the device is discovered before the timer goes off, it has a 70% chance of discharging in the finder's hands, making an attack roll against the target's touch AC.
